Self Regulation Reset

Auditory input plays a direct role in how the brain organises attention and nervous system state. Research in neuroscience and sensory processing shows that sound can influence focus, arousal, and regulation, particularly when it is predictable and contained.

This brief auditory exercise offers a simple sensory anchor that some people find helpful for grounding, focus, or a short mental reset.

It takes less than 60 seconds.

The sound is a pure 1000 Hz tone. Some people prefer to listen with headphones, though speakers are also fine.

This is not a treatment and it will not suit everyone. Use this tool only if it feels supportive. If you notice discomfort, irritation, or increased agitation, it may not be the right resource for you. Trust your own response.
