Frequently asked questions

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes. Online counselling is available for clients across Australia and internationally.

​

What platform do you use for video calls?

All video sessions are conducted through Halaxy, a secure platform widely used by medical and mental health professionals in Australia. This ensures your confidentiality and meets Australian privacy and data protection standards.

You do not need to download any apps or install software. Simply ensure you have a stable internet connection and a private space for your session.

A secure session link will be provided in your confirmation email.

Do you offer in clinic sessions?

Yes. Sessions are available in Altona.

​

How long are sessions?

Both 60 and 90 minute sessions are available.

Do you offer phone consult?

Yes. A brief 15 minute phone consult is available for new clients in Australia. Short video calls are required prior to working with clients overseas.

Do you offer group work?

A six week online support group for those experiencing complex grief will be offered nationally and internationally and is scheduled for later in the year. Please contact me to express your interest or for further details.

Do you work with children or couples?

No. My practice is focused on individual counselling for adults.

​

Do you offer crisis support?

No. I do not provide crisis support. For urgent or specialist intervention, please contact emergency services on 000, or reach out to a crisis support service such as Lifeline on 13 11 14.

How to get here (In Clinic Sessions, Altona)

The practice is located in Altona, approximately a 3 to 4 minute walk from Altona Train Station (Werribee line). 

Several bus routes also service the area including routes 412, 415, 411 and the SMARTBUS 903 via Altona.  

 

Parking

For those driving, 3 hour parking is available directly outside the Altona Wellness Hub, 7 Sargood Street,  Altona, and all day street parking is available nearby.​​​​​​​​​​​
